A couple of days ago I watched a movie called “Small World”. Little did I know how much it would leave an impact on me afterwards.
It follows a polish policeman, Robert Goc, who becomes engaged in an international investigation to find a girl, named Oleg, who is his daughter, who was kidnapped by Russian mafia.
This movie starrs Piodr Adamczyk, Enrique Arce, Jim Conway, Andris Keiss, and Piotr Stramowski.
This movie was shot beautifully but it’s subject is too heavy and graphic at some times, like there was a very heartbreaking and kinda disturbing scene , where I was very uncomfortable watching it.
I really liked the ending but this movie will be stuck in my head for a long time.
It is sad that the subject in this movie , little children , who are being trafficked by the Russian mafia and how corrupt some police officers can be, it’s disgusting! And it’s sad because that is sadly a part of our reality like human trafficking unfortunately still does happen and those little children will unfortunately be traumatized by their experiences for the rest of their lifetimes.
I loved the fact that this movie leaves you shocked yet makes you think about it afterwards. Despite its heaviness and those disturbing and uncomfortable moments in it.
