A couple of days ago, Focus Features sent the screened to the crime/drama directed by Graham Moore (The Imitation Game). This his is directorial debut. It stars Mark Raylance, Zoey Deutch, Johnny Flynn, Dylan O’Brien, just to name a few.
Onto the premise: an English tailor played by (Rylance) in Chicago whose primary customers are a family of gangsters.
This film premiered at the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival back in February 2022 and will be released in the United States on March 18, 2022 by Focus Features.
Yesterday I had a zoom call with the director and Dylan O’Brien and Zac Posen. The director told me that they filmed the movie in 24 days and that Dylan wasn’t very confident that he would be a part of this beautiful yet sad movie…. Zac told me about the history of the US police department installing bugs inside coats to bring down mob bosses and said that the first bit ever planted was in the early 19. Century…
This movie was a very entertaining piece of art. I fell in love with its costumes and the cinematography and the visuality of certain scenes in this movie. This movie was a trip! Especially with its twists and turns….
Great performance from the whole cast and great visuals and the violence! It’s funny to hear a voice over on the philosophy of imperfections at some point in this movie.
I can’t wait for the world to see this one! It’s definitely worth a watch and if personally recommend it to you guys! Thank me later!
