A couple days ago I watched the 2021 Drama movie “Montana Story”. This moon will be released on May 13th 2022. It starrs Haley Lu Richardson (Split 2016), Owen Teague (IT), Eugene Brave Rock (Wonder Woman), just to name a few. It was directed and written by Scott McGehee (The Deep End 2001) and David Siegel (The Deep End 2001). It has a runtime of 1h 53 minutes. It was rated R for its language.
Onto the premise: Two estranged siblings return home to the sprawling ranch they once knew and loved, confronting a deep and bitter family legacy against a mythic American backdrop.
The movie was shot on 35 mm as the new “The Batman” , which had beautiful cinematography and scoring. This movie evokes a beautiful style of American top tier filmmaking! I would recommend to you to watch this movie on THEE LARGEST screen you can find! Richardson’s performance was outstanding! Same goes to Owen’s performance, I’m kinda shocked that he is at the same age as I am…! Gonna keep an eye on him from now on!
“Montana Story” is a modern Western, whose melancholy probe into the bruising past gives way, in a quietly satisfying conclusion, to the hope of reconciliation, even healing!
I really liked this movie, therefore it is “Worth a watch”!
