A couple of days ago, IFC Films a screener link to this 2021 Biography/Drama/History/Romance. This movie premiered at the French Featival Du Film back in August of 2021. It will officially be released on June 3rd 2022. This movie was directed by Martin Bourboulon. It has a runtime of 1h and 48 minutes. It starrs Romain Duris, Emma Mackey (2022’s Dead on the Nil), Denis Leluc, (2017’s Burn Out) and Philippe Hérisson, just to name a few.
This movie was rightfully rated R for severe sex and nudity.
Onto the premise: The government is asking Eiffel to design something spectacular for the 1889 Paris World Fair, but Eiffel simply wants to design the subway. Suddenly, everything changes when Eiffel crosses paths with a mysterious woman from Arun’s past.
This might be one of the best and most beautiful movies, from the visual aspect, I’ve ever seen!
I really liked Emma Mackey’s performance. She was majestic in this role. As for the story, it was beautifully written.
This movie made me feel a roller coaster of emotions, yes I did cry in the end!
I definitely recommend it! Please check it out in a theatre once it out! There’d “Eiffel” , that the original title, was “worth a watch”!
Everything was so beautiful, the costumes, the scenery, the cinematography! Kudos to the editors of this movie!
