A couple of years ago, started watching GeekedWeek on Netflix’s YouTube channel. I’m even more excited about this year’s GeekedWeek, which began on June 6th and will end on June 10th 2022.
Here’s a recap of day one:
We got a mini teaser trailer to Tim Burton’s “Adam’s Family”’s Spin-off titled “Wednesday”.
Another very exciting news was the little teaser trailer for the award winning director Guillermo Del Toro’s series titled “Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities”, which will be released this year 2022. It is also starring Eric Andre just to name a few. It is a horror anthology series with eight episodes.
There were some very interesting upcoming Netflix’s shows such as “The imperfects”, which is an anthology series, about twenty-somethings with superpowers, which will be released this year.
We also got a teaser trailer for Robert Downy Jr’s “Sweet Thoth” for its second season..
“Lock and Key” will be premiering on August 10th 2022 on Netflix, I haven’t watched that show but I wanted to mention it, in case one of you guys were interested.
Another show which I was very excited to find out more about was “Fate: The Winx Saga”. This season my favorite witch, Flora will be joining the girls. it will be released in Fall 2022
“Shadow and Bone” season 2 will be released on sometime this year.
“Manifest” will have its final season with its 4th season. It will have a two part final season. We also got a teaser trailer. I have never watched this one as well.
“Vikings: Valhalla”, we got a first teaser trailer. It’s season two was announced. They showed us some bloopers of season one, which were entertaining. Pardon me, it will be two more seasons.
“Barbarians” season two will be released very soon. I loved season one. The gave us a sneak peak and we saw some Romans and Barbarians. It will be released in Fall of 2022
“Alice in Borderline” season two is in production.
“One piece”, my favorite series from my childhood, gave us a BTS- of the cast, they showed us a sneak peak of the ships, they also told us that they were filming in South Africa, the live action Netflix show. Yes, I did cry.
“Resident Evil” will be released on July 14th 2022. They showed a trailer. I knew and played the games.
“The Umbrella Academy” , the cast told me that the filming of season two had been a lot of fun. The show with its season 3 will be released on June 22nd 2022. They showed a couple first looks and clips, where we saw the Sparrows in the gym and the fan favorite “Hotel Syvian”. In one clip in the hotel, Claus said something were funny involving a very famous family of the states, one of the members also called Kim K….
The highly anticipated DC’ Comics “The Sandman”, they told us that it will be most diverse than you’ve ever seen and it will be very comic book accurate. Which makes me very happy and excited! They gave us a BTS- video of the cast, similar to last year’s “GeekedWeek”. The sets looked incredibly captivating and dreamy. They also gave us a trailer to season one of “The Sandman”. Showing the “Dream World”. Which looked so so so so good. It will be released on August 5th 2022! They also showed us some posters of “The Sandman” which were black and white and were beautifully shot.
“Dark’s 1899” , they showed us a trailer and told us that the Sci-Fi show will be released this year, with a killer soundtrack! 1899 will be more action packed than “Dark”.
Those were the highlights of the first day of Netflix’s “GeekedWeek” 2022.

There will be a sci-if animated show called “The Seabeast” coming on July 8th 2022. The movie was directed by the same guy who did “Big Hero 6” and “Moana” and “Frozen”, Chris Williams.
Jamie Fox will be starring as a Vampire hunter in a new Vampire movie, from the team who did “John Wick”, titled “The Dayshift”, coming August 12th 2022. Along starting Snoop Dogg and Dave Franco. They gave us a first look.
A new very interesting Spanish movie with clowns, titled “ El Club” coming this year.
There will be an action movie “Interceptar” starring Chris Hemsworth ‘s wife Elisabeth Coming on June 3rd 2022 this year!
From the makers of “Nightmare Before Christmas”, there will be another scary stop motion “Wendall & Wild”, which will be released in October 2022.
They also showed us a few clips of “Spiderhead” starring Thor, Chris H. Which will be released on June 17th 2022!
Zack Synader’s “Rebel Moon” also made an appearance today with Zack telling us that we should keep our eyes peeled.
“The Gray Man”, which is an action movie by the RUSSO-brothers, starring Ryan Gosling, Anna De Armas, and Chris Evans. It’s a spy-action movie. This movie will be released sometime this year. They also showed us a couple clips and a teaser trailer and I’m pumped!
The brothers told us that there were subtle homages to their previous movies such as “Captain America: Winter Soldier”. They also showed us a first clip of Ryan and Evans and De Armas’s scenes. Like I don’t want to give it away but it made me even more excited about the release of this action-spy-movie!
Pardon me, it will be released on July 22nd 2022.
“The School for Good and Evil” is a fantastic movie which will be released sometime this year. We got a teaser trailer and that looked so good! It’s starring Charlize Theron, Rachel Bloom, Sofia Wylie, Sophia Anne Caruso, just to name a few. This is a book adaptation. It will be released this September 2022!
Day 3 of GeekedWeek will be all about ANIMATION!
Here’s the recap of the third of Netflix’s “GeekedWeek” 2022,, which was dedicated to animation.
We got a few clips of the new episodes of “The Cuphead Show”.
There was another show announced which is called “the dead end”. Which will be coming soon to Netflix. Pardon me, on July 16th 2022.
There will be a show coming to Netflix, which is called “Daniel Spellbound”, which is in the animation style of “Love Death + Robots” but is Cyberpunk. I’m really stoked for that show to come out.
“Pokémon: Uptimate Journies: The series”, they gave us a sneak peak to its newest season.
“Masters of the Universe: Revulsion” will be released sometime this year.
“Wonderstorms: The Dragon Prince” gave us a sneak peak of season four.
“Arcane” season two is currently in production! They showed a behind the scenes video of season one. I can’t wait to watch it!
“Entergalactic” was produced by rapper Kid Cudi. It’s voice cast is insane, Ty Dolla Sign, Jaden Smith, Vanessa Hudgens, just to name a few, this will be released this fall on Netflix. it also an adult animation series.
“Love, Death + Robots” season three released on May 20th. They gave us a behind the scenes look at season three. I loved this season. Can’t wait for season four!
From the makers of “Paradise PD” , there will be another adult animation tv show titled “Farzar” and will be released on July 15th 2022.
There will be an anime tv show titled “Exception”.
They also gave us a first opening scene of “Inside Job”. It will be released later this year!
From the makers of “Attack on Titan” , there will be an anime show titled “Moon rise”. This show will be coming this December.
There will be a new series from Japan titled “Uncle from another world”. It will be released this July on Netflix.
“Kong Skull Island” the animated series will be released this year.
“Maniac”, an horror and manga will be released this year.
“Cyberpunk: Esgerunners” will be released this year! They gave us a first look ! It looked incredible!

Day four was dedicated to “Stranger Things” specifically to its four season part I &II, which will be released on July 1st 2022. We started it with a “Stranger Things” Season 4 panel titled “Stranger Things 4: Unlocked”, with behind the scenes material of this season and conversations with Milly Bobby Brown on the set of S.T4 and a long with some glimpses on the upcoming episodes and seasons. The part II of season 4 will be released on July 1st 2022. They gave us a trailer for part II of season four of “Stranger Things”. Along with some games that the cast played .
The cast also played D&D on a separate panel titled “The Hellfire Club: A Dungeons and Dragons Adventure”.

It’s the last day of Netflix’s “GeekedWeek” 2022. It was dedicated to games.
We got a trailer for a show based on the Dragon Age” games, titled “Dragon Age: Absolution”, which. Will be coming to Netflix in December 2022. Along with a poster, which you can see below.
There will be an anime show on Netflix of the beloved “Tekken” games, titled “Tekken: Bloodline”. It will be released this year!
“Shadow and Bone” will be getting a mobile game titled “Shadow and Bone: Destines”.
There is a game being developed for “Too Hot To Handle”.
There will be a game for the hit Netflix show “Money Heist”.
“The Queens Gambit” will get its own game which will be beyond Chess. They also showed us a trailer for the game.
“The Cuphead Show” which is already a game turned tv show, will get its own game sometime this year! They also told us and showed us the trailer for the remaining episodes which will be released on August 19th 2022.
There will be a new game titled “Lucky Luna”. Coming this Summer to Netflix.
“Desta: The Memories Between” is a game which will be released sometime this year on Netflix. Along with a trailer which I really liked the animation style. It’s a Sims-esque-game.
“Terra Nil” is another game which will is in development for Netflix. This game is very similar to Minecraft but with an ecological twist.
There will be a Sonic animated tv series, titled “Sonic Prime” coming to Netflix this year.
The hosts of day five of Netflix’s “GeekedWeek” told us that there will be more than 50 Netflix mobile games and in the Netflix App by the end of this year! Wow!
The cast of “The Cuphead Show” did a table reading of one of the upcoming episodes, which will be released on August 19th 2022!
They also showed a new trailer for “Resident Evil”, which will be released on July 14th 2022. That was pretty much everything! Thanks for liking my page. Have a great weekend!
