Promise this will be the last review for this week.
Today’s finally the day, where “Bullet Train” is finally being released. You know how hyped I was to watch it even though I I don’t like the poster for this movie because of the overwhelming usage of people on a movie poster. After watching Apple TV’s “Luck” I decided to watch it and here is my review.
This movie is an Action/Adventure/Comedy/Thriller directed by thee legend David Leitch (Marvel’s “Deadpool 2”). And written by Zak Olkewicz (Netflix’s “Fear Street”). It starrs Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, Joey King (Hulu’s “The Princess), Aaron-Taylor-Johnson (“Kick Ass), Brian-Tyree-Henry (Marvel’s “Eternals”), Andrew Koji (Fast and Furious 6), musician Bad Bunny , Zazie Beetz (Netflix’s “The Harder They Fell) and Karen Fukuhana (Amazon Prime’s “The Boys”) and so so many more!
Onto the premise: Five assassins aboard a fast moving bullet train find out their missions have something in common.
They really found a way to incorporate a lot of culture and action into a single movie! Be sure to stay a little bit after the credits start to roll for one more scene!
This movie is entertaining and plenty of humour, but it’s also jam-packed with action and moves swiftly. Pitt, humour, and action? Check everything three times! If that describes you, grab some popcorn and settle in. Be prepared for an exciting cinema experience that will leave you reeling from thrills, enjoyable action sequences, humour, and the joy of real sentiment.
“Bullet Train” is definitely one of the most thrilling movies that I have seen this year so far. Brad Pitt, Joey King, Bad Bunny and Aaron Taylor-Johnson absolutely kill it in this movie, no pun intended haha, From start to finish, you will be on the edge of your seat. It’s also very funny and has characters which make you want to root for them.
If I had any negatives with the film it would be the language just way too much. Other then that fantastic flawless movie.
It does give you major “Deadpool” vibes and John Wick vibes but that because of the stunt coordinators who were those ones who coordinated the stunts in the “John Wick” franchise along with it being directed by Mr. Leitch.
As a martial arts enthusiast, it’s absolutely perfect! Most movies tend to consider it more of a theatrical element but here, the art has been introduced and panned out exactly how it is.
I really liked the camera angles and gore and violence of this movie along with certain cameos!!!
While it feels slow, for a bullet train, at times, it always manages to catch up. The connections made tie up the story very well, with seemingly minor elements being part of a bigger picture, contributing in interest on top of this heave of mystery, comedy, and action.
Loved the style of filming, acting, and the excitement the movie brought. It really has your full attention and there’s never a dull moment.
A big big salute to the stuntmen for such clean and dramatic stunts. Truly enjoyed watching it! Brad Pitt also did a good job.
The action sequence in the movie hits every point. If I had to come up with negatives, I would say it’s a bit hectic at times, but not enough to take me out of it. And the story borders on being convoluted, but I was able to follow it all so I’ll call it intricate instead.
The visuals of the film are fantastic- soaked in a beautiful neon glow. While soundtrack is fine but not too memorable outside of the film.
Overall this movie was worth the wait and therefore “Worth a watchL I am still in awe. I will definitely re-watch this one.
