Is “The Runner” worth a watch?

I was waiting so long for this movie to be available to watch at home as VOD. It was released on August 19th but was released on VOD on August 23rd 2022.

This movie is a Thriller and it starrs Elizabeth Röhm (20119’s “Bombshell”), Eric Balfour (2020’s “Charmed”), Jessica Amlee (Apple TV’s “For All Mankind”), Edouard Philipponnat (“House of Gucci”), just to name a few. This movie was directed by Michelle Danner. This movie was rated R for drug usage and language and violence. This is another Saban Films project.

Onto the premise: After being busted for drug possession, Aiden, a troubled Teenager is forced by the cops to go undercover and risk his life to bring down a dangerous drug king pin.

Sabin film did it once again. This film is the exception. Good act, good production and the lead is anew actor that is not bad. Worth a watch. I might have a little crush on Eric not gonna lie…

Overall I really liked it and it was a fast pace movie with a great storyline and lovable characters. Therefore it’s “Worth a Watch”.
