When I saw the trailer for this dark thriller/comedy, starring Camila Mendes, Maya Hawke, Austin Abrams (“Paper Towns”), Rish Shah (“Ms Marvel”), Sophie Turner, just to name a few.
This movie was directed and written by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson )”Thor:Love and Thunder”).
This movie was rated PG-13 for profanity and mild gore and violence. This movie was released on September 16th 2022 on Netflix.
Onto the premise: Drea and Eleanor agree to go after one another’s bullies.
This movie got backstabbing sabotaging teenaged girl relationships very right
Shout out to the costumes for this movie because all those crazy outfits were so much fun to watch!
The soundtrack was full of a great mix of modern music and 90’s music, as a 90’s kid, myself, it catapulted me back to my childhood! This movie will easily be a comfort movie for a lot of of people, including me!
. I loved that they included Sarah Michelle Gellar as the headmaster. Sophie Turner has a fun small part.
would definitely watch this again and I’d recommend it as a good time to anyone who has 90’s teen nostalgia!
I’m so beyond high school but I really like to watch movies that makes me feel I’m young again and miss it high school is always high school over the ages.
I like how they portrait hatred, and how being busy destroying someone, can actually end up destroying you or your future.
This movie had a modern approach references and the self-deprecating jokes killed me several times.
Along the vengeance-driven friendship moments were so cool. At the same time, the film manages to blend all of its influences into a distinctive movie that is fully committed to its vision of high school as a handsomely costumed and art-directed snake pit filled with sadists who get off on other people’s pain and embarrassment.
Overall I liked this movie. It was a much needed escape from real life. Therefore “Do Revenge” was “worth a watch”.
