Is Marvel’s “Werewolf By Night” worth a watch?

This movie was another highly anticipated one for me.

This Marvel movie starrs Harriet Sansom Harris (“Dynasty”), Eugenie Bondurant (“The Interview With The Vampire”), Leonardo Nam (“WestWorld”), Carey Jones (“Captive State”), just to name a few.

This movie was directed by Michael Giacchino (“Doctor Strange: In The Multiverse of Madness”).

This movie was released on October 7th 2022 on Disney Plus. This movie is an Action/Adventure/Comedy/Horror/Thriller.

This was rated Tv-14 for violence and gore, profanity, frightening imagery.

Onto the premise: Follows a lycanthrope superhero who fights evil using the abilities given to him by a curse brought on by his bloodline.

This movie is a Marvel comic book adaptation.

Marvel did it once again! This is the second movie with serious Horror elements, after the second installment of “Doctor Strange”. I normally don’t watch Horror movies but I really enjoyed this movie.

Werewolf by night brought elements never seen before into the MCU. As incredible as it may seem, Marvel Studios went after lesser-known characters making them spectacular.Like in the seventh episode of “She-Hulk: Attorney At Law”. But that aspect didn’t really bother me.

All the horror elements driven by Michael Giacchino are brutal, he really put a lot of effort into this project. Michael Giacchino also composed and it was noted how well this work of direction was together with the songs.

Michael Giacchino must continue to drive this MCU universe of monsters. It was an excellent directorial debut!

I really liked the black and white elements of this movie along with the fact that this movie has opened the Helloween season, which is my favorite holiday!

Overall I really enjoyed this movie and I would like to say: Thank you Michael Giacchino and Kevin Feige! Thank you Marvel Studios for finally listening to us, Comic Book fans and bringing Werewolf to live and making this live-action movie. Therefore those teasers at D23 were so worth the wait, this movie is definitely “worth a watch”!
