Onto the premise: Set in the international world of classical music, the film centers on Lydia Tár, widely considered one of the greatest living composer/conductors and first-ever female chief conductor of a major German orchestra.
Wow, this movie really has an effect on you, it’s something you haven’t seen before. Care was superb in this movie like acting really cuts into your soul with her face and the emotions she was going through!
I’m glad Todd field came back and gave this gem of a masterpiece.
No wonder she is considered as one of the greatest actress of all time and is ALREADY in talks for an Oscar nominee!
Amazing movie, side characters also gave their best, especially Nina hoss, who plays her partner. Merlant and newcomer Sophie are amazing as well.
The score gave me goosebumps and this movie is really an experience than a movie, don’t be influenced by others, just see it for yourself! I can’t stop thinking about this experience, it definitely one of the best movies I’ve seen this year, even better than “Moonage Daydream”! Please watch it and let me know your thoughts and opinions on it!
