I’m a 24-year old woman that LOVED the first Santa clause movie (it’s my favorite Christmas movie) and while yes it had some cringy moments I enjoyed the episodes.
It’s MEANT to be kinda cringy it’s a Christmas show for gods sake. Some jokes were funny and I found humor in them as adults. I can see how kids would enjoy it as well. I feel like people are expecting the entirety of a movie as opposed to realizing it’s a series and we don’t know where they are taking it yet. Go in with an open mind and understanding that there’s still more episodes to come.
I have been looking forward to this reunion of characters for YEARS! So I was so excited when it released. The nostalgia is there, it’s clean, funny, corny, and a great Christmas series so far!
I was so happy to see the gang all back! They brought back so many memories from past “Santa clauses” that it definitely doesn’t feel like a totally different thing. There are new characters, most of which, are shallow in character depth, and story line, but I think as the season goes on we’ll see more growth.
I appreciated that it is clean and doesn’t have a lot of worldly messages. I can definitely watch this around the kids this season, and am so looking forward to watching the rest of the season. It really brought me back to my childhood and that’s what I truly wanted during these tough times in my life!
