Is Netflix’s “Treason” series worth a watch?

This Netflix series was another highlight of this month for me because it starrs mr Daredevil himself. Charlie Cox!

This series starrs Charlie Coc, Beau Gadsdon (“The Baby”), Alex Kingston (“Doctor Who”), Adam James (Netflix’s “You”), Tracy Ifeachor (“Doctor Who”), Brian Law (“Doctor who”), just to name a few.

This series was directed by Louise Hooper (Netflix’s “The Sandman”),

This Netflix mini-series was released on December 26th 2022 and has six episodes in its first season.

This mini-series is an Action/Drama/Thriller.

Onto the premise: Adam Lawrence was trained and groomed by MI6, his career seems set. When the past catches up with him in the form of Kara, a Russian spy with whom he shares a complicated past, he is forced to question everything and everyone in his life.

In Episode one, Adam Lawrence immediately rises to the top of MI6 after his boss is poisoned. But a surprise meeting forces him to question his whole career.

In Episode two, With his family in fresh danger, Adam attempts to cut ties to his secret asset. Meanwhile, Maddy and Kara form covert alliances of their own.

In Episode Three,In a bid to avoid treason charges, both Adam and Maddy go after Kara. But overheard conversations lead to big doubts about who they can really trust.

In Episode Four, Adam flees London with the children after MI6 revokes his clearance. Before long, their hiding place is discovered – and blood is spilled.

In Episode five, the season finale, More shocking secrets come to light as an unlikely team works to expose the truth, with lives and the very future of government hanging in the balance.

Charlie Cox (Daredevil) was great in this one. Full of twists and good tv entertainment. Matt Charman (Bridge of Spies) writes a fun and challenging good spy drama, generally clever, from the beginning to the end (?)

A different espionage thriller that set apart from the usual. The plotted is enjoyable and very well performed, Ciaran Hinds (Belfast) is always a welcome presence. Charlie Cox can prove that is more than capable to preform a future James Bond movie. I really hope for more seasons! The characters are very watchable and perfectly executed.

Overall I really enjoyed this mini series. It was a fun ride of emotions Ana loved the beautiful cinematography and the those really really cool camera shots and the created anxious atmosphere and the suspense, omg, it was too good! It was definitely “worth a watch” I can’t wait to watch more seasons!
