This movie is another item of my December Watchlist but I didn’t have the time to watch it back then.
This movie starrs Rebel Wilson (“Senior year “), Charlotte Gainsbourg (Netflix’s “Pale Blue Eye”), just to name a few.
This movie was directed by Celyn Jones (“Six Minutes To Midnight”).
This movie was released on December 16th 2022. This movie is a Drama.
Onto the premise: What happens when you’re ambushed by time? An archaeologist and an architect fight to re-imagine a future after traumatic brain injury leaves them adrift from the people they love.
This movie was a powerful and moving about dealing with a loved one who is suffering from memory loss.
It follows two couples, both of whom are dealing with a partner who has severe memory loss.
The two stories run parallel but occasionally overlap.
I won’t spoil anything, at least try my best not to, but this is defiantly worth a watch.
All of the performances were excellent. Plus, Anyone who has experienced a loved one who either has lost their memory or started to lose it, will most likely be able to relate to this beautiful yet heartbreaking movie and the characters’ struggles were too close to home for me and I would say , prepare for tissues because you will be crying.
Nevertheless It was also nice to see Rebel Wilson take on a different kind of role. Don’t get me wrong, I think she was great at what she does for the most part, and “Pitch Perfect”1 and 2 are among my favorite movies of all time.
While she is great in those movies, this was just so different for her and I might dare say this is her best performance to date!
