This movie was another item on my jam packed March watchlist. As a 90s baby, I literally grew up with playing this game!
This Drama and Comedy starrs Mike Faist (Amazon Prime Video’s “Panic”), Crystal Reed (“Teen Wolf: The Movie”), Dennis Boutsikaris (Anne Rive’s “Mayfair Witches”), just to name a few.
This movie was directed by Austin Bragg.
This movie was released on March 17th 2023.
This movie debuted at the “Newport beach international film festival “, “Hamptons international film festival”.
Onto the premise: The story of Roger Sharpe, the young midwesterner who overturned New York City’s 35 year-old ban on pinball machines.
A piece of history told better than I could, and with a lot of stuff I didn’t know, and a lot of Hollywood “treatment” of this true story.
You don’t have to be a pinball person to love this movie. It’s beautifully shot, well directed, with credible characters and a story most of us haven’t heard.
